MPLS is the Aedolon of Minneapolis. An Aedolon is a personification of a location.

He most often appears as a tall blue skinned man. In his eyes one can see the Minneapolis skyline. In his voice one can hear the cacophony of the metropolitan area, traffic, construction, the voices of the citizens.

MPLS is a recurring character from a collection of story ideas that explore the magical and supernatural people and places around the Twin Cities.

He’s kind of ‘snakey’ lookin’…. I like the skyline, too….

    Thanks Caine and Crash!

This guy has lived in my head for so long, it was odd to watch him actually take a physical shape.

Don’t know where the snakey neck came from, and the eyes…I had no idea how they would translate to a drawing. But I think I had some success, if your positive feedback is any indication.

    Thanks again!.
