#11. Chad, The Self-Experimental Scientist

November 11, 2009

Even as a child, Chad had a penchant for curiosity.  Chad would beat to his own drum, marching right along and tasting batteries, ingesting rubber cement, sticking silverware into electrical sockets, and trying to fly from various heights – at the behest of his parents… all in the name of science.

His brilliance didn’t stop there.  It wasn’t until Chad was accepted to Harvard Science & Medical that his curiosity really blossomed.
There are certain things in science that even accomplished and cutting edge scientists won’t do, for moral or ethical reasons… but not Chad!

If Chad is told that he isn’t allowed to or shouldn’t perform a potentially dangerous or ethically unbalanced experiment on a subject… he’ll just perform it on himself instead.
