#3. Paladin Brigade

November 3, 2009

Mark “Brax” Braxton

Like all members of the Paladin Brigade Brax operates a custom made & tailored suit of armor that utilizes the inactive “psionic” abilities coded inside his genome to enhance its user with increased strength, speed, and stamina as well as being tapped into a state of the art multifaceted satellite surveillance and communication network.

The Brigade offers tactical support, investigative services, fugitive retrieval services, fugitive apprehension services, and more for the world court’s ‘Criminal Psionic Consortium‘ in the investigation and apprehension of psionic criminals.  It’s largest client/partner is the U.S. Marshal Service although the Brigade does have a public division as well.

Brax is a charter member of the Brigade, clocking thousands of hours in Virtual Reality while the technology was being developed.  Once a petty thief and criminal Brax was offered a chance to redeem him self and allowed out of prison to test his limited psionics in the Brigade’s technology.  He now operates as a trainer and teacher of new recruits as well as federal officers who are not with the Brigade but use it’s technology.

1.) While the Brigade is not new, Brax is.
2.) The artwork is not mine, I hired JC Grande to produce the art for the Brigade.

Sweet. I came across JC Grande’s stuff a while back. He’s good. Definitely on my radar as someone I’d want to work with if I had the right project. Cool that your throwing work his way.

Nice work! Dig the armour and the little 2D line art touches are awesome on the border pieces. Make the character sheet all the more pro.

    Thank you everyone.
I cut and paste all kinds of armor in all of the comics that I loved sort of glued them together with Photoshop and set it to JC and he came up with this from it. The one reference that I wanted to show through the most was the 80’s Checkmate armor (black & gold) and I think it does.

    This is some terrific work.

    These guys are cool!
