#2 Joshua

November 2, 2009

Name: Joshua

Affiliation: None

There was a dog named Joshua. Before that a bird. Years prior a small child. The name has carried a soul through the ages. Now it travels in the body of a man. This man carries the sign of the stitch. So many times Joshua was died, his memories scattered from his reconstruction. Each time he walks away with only the mark of the stitch on him. The sisters have done a good job keeping him going over the years. Out there somewhere, Joshua knows he is being hunted. He knows that it is responsible for his deaths.

Joshua Dog and Man

Dog to Man

In this last incarnation besides the random memories he has, Joshua has been imbued by the ability to displace himself over short distances, almost like a teleport or sorts. This ability steams from one of the parts used to put him back together, sometimes this can generate side effects of genetic memory recall. Joshua is always afraid that at some point he will never know who he truly is or was due to this.

His last memory was laying in the snow bleeding. There was a burning wreckage, some type of machine. He wasn’t a man, he just wanted his bone. Where was his master?

Then she came upon, her arms in a frenzy as she collected and assembled the parts. Lastly removing his soul, he floated upwards, but she tethered him down. In the distance he hear a cry of rage, it was coming for him again.

This is very interesting. I love immortal characters and the stories they let you tell.
