28. Meta-Girl
Shannon Swift is the pretty new girl in school. And she has ALL the boys attention. But she’s got much bigger things on her mind, like keeping the world safe from super criminals everywhere as America’s Super Hero Sweetheart, Meta-Girl.
Meta-Girl is super strong, can fly and is nearly invulnerable. She also has limited telepathic abilities, however, she’s spent considerable time learning to turn those abilities off, because sitting in a high school class hearing the thoughts of her male classmate…yeah, not cute.
Meta-Girl is so committed to fighting crime because she wants to prove she’s nothing like her super-criminal father, who left her mother and her when she was 6. After he recently broke free of a super-prison, Shannon and her mother moved and changed their last names so her dad couldn’t find them.
Neither Shannon or Meta-Girl have ever had a problem attracting the attention of boys. That is, until Epic. For some reason, he just doesn’t seem interested. And it’s driving her crazy. Meta-Girl may just have her first crush…super or otherwise.
