#6. Ethan Veridi, Gaiacept

Ethan Veridi is an employee of the Minneapolis Parks Department. He’s quiet young man who has a strong connection to the green and growing things. He surprises many, including himself, when he discovers just how strong that connection is.

Veridi learns that he is a Gaiacept, a type of Haptikos that exerts great influence over the plant life of our planet. Gaiacepts are incredibly rare and incredibly powerful.

(A Haptikos is basically a human with super powers that typically correspond to an elemental, cosmic, or spiritual force.)

Ethan Veridi is the first of a series of characters from For The Trees, a large and unwieldy collection of index cards, outlines and snippets of dialogue that will one day be a graphic novel. I hope.
