Imagine for a moment, the demon spawn of WWE CEO Vince McMahon and Dallas Cowboy’s owner Jerry Jones.
Now imagine he’s one of the most powerful men in the world.
That, in a nutshell, is Kurt Blackburn, commissioner of the CLA (Colosseum League of the Americas.)
Role/Purpose In Story- One of the main antagonists. He is a bad, bad, man.
Occupation- Commissioner of the CLA and owner of the most dominant team in the league, the Deathstars.
Age/Sex/Race – 56, Male, White (Anglo-Saxon)
Goal – Continue the CLA’s dominance in Sports Entertainment, Continue the Deathstars dominance in the league, continue to profit from the exploitation of super humans.
Inner Need- Control, dominance
Relationships- Kurt Blackburn is one of four Blackburn brothers. The Blackburn family is the most influential and powerful in the world. His older brother, General James “Cutter” Blackburn is a four-star General in the Army, and the overseer in charge of superhuman internment. His youngest brother, Bryce Blackburn is a genius, and created the proprietary technology that neutralizes the powers of virtually every superhuman on the planet. Kurt was also chiefly responsible for getting his third brother, Stewart Blackburn, elected President of the United States of the Americas. Unbeknownst to the populace at large, Stewart is mentally retarded, and obsessed with superhumans.
Back Story- The most dominant of the exceptional Blackburn brothers (okay, so President Stewie isn’t all that exceptional) Kurt Blackburn was one of the chief architects of the internment of superhumans, and has profited more than anyone from the rise of the superhuman industrial complex that has dominated the US economy for the past 15 years.
