#1. Chaleha Thella

2009 November 1

I humbly present Chaleha Thella: Thief of Sharp Objects as my Day 1 post.

Chaleha can see 30 seconds into the future with high clarity. She uses this natural talent in her career as a thief for hire. Two things get her into trouble. First: an unlimited desire for new sharp things. If no sharp things are available, shiny-pointy things are acceptable substitute. The second trouble: any suspicious guard lurking behind barrier of “31 seconds in the future”.

    Nice
I like the background. You really make every pen stroke work for you.

Thanks! I’m hoping to play around with different background ideas along with the character posts themselves.

Thanks! Your “Who are We?” post is really funny. It’s also familiar in the “always take on too much of a workload” department. :)

For some reason I love the title “Thief of Sharp Objects”. What is it about pointy things that have a particular appeal to her?

I’m thinking it’s a defense mechanism. She likes to carry sharp objects and to be protected by them in her surroundings where she chooses to sleep. Keep people at a distance kind of trait.

That’s so cute! I really like the hair.
    And the background is interesting.
    Good job.
